Kshitij (KK) Kumar
Kshitij Kumar is the Chief Data Officer (Former) of Haleon, the leading everyday consumer health company, where he oversees all aspects of data, analytics and AI.
Data, analytics and AI expert KK is considered a strategic technology and data visionary, with more than three decades of experience across software design, big data analytics and senior technology roles. Throughout his extensive career, KK has taken on a wide range of roles including CDO for sports unicorn, OneFootball, where he built built the entire data, analytics and AI infrastructure, from customer data, first-party and zero-party data, omnichannel customer engagement, content tagging, recommendations, and visualisation; Chief Data Officer Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company (NYSE: IT), Chief Data Officer at Farfetch (NYSE: FTCH) where he ran company’s Central Data organisation to support all parts of Farfetch with data science, business intelligence and analytics tools, technologies and skills.
Prior, he led all central data efforts from AI to BI in his role as VP of Data Solutions at Zalando in Berlin, Germany. Before this, he was the VP for Big Data at Ericsson in San Jose, California. KK has founded and built several startups, helped raise over $85M in funding, driven two M&A transactions, and he is a published author.
KK’s expertise is in delivering high impacts with AI, machine learning, data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence and data governance. He is a regular keynote speaker across international events, evangelising complex data topics.
KK holds a MSc in Computer Science from University of Victoria, and BEng in Computer Science and Technology from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
